Sandwell Council Training & Development Centre 24th of October 2008
History
Sandwell training & development centre as it stands today was originally a secondary school in the county of Oldbury, it was built by George Stacey Albright who was born 1855 and passed away 1945. In 1879 he joined his father Mr Arthur Albright in the firm of Albright & Wilson. George Stacey Albright also served on the panel of inventions
department of the ministry of defence during the Second World War
Because of George Albrights passion for the local community he set about building the Albright secondary school, it is believed that a farm once stood where the TDC stands today but we have not been able to find any information
on this why we did find was that it was just fields there.
However unfortunately the Albright school was merged with another school in Oldbury and the school was then passed to its present owners and till this very day is being used as a training & development centre for Sandwell council. However staff have reported seeing children and reports of a man in cow gown what does the training & development centre hold?
Investigation Report
The training & development centre in Oldbury was the scene for our next investigation. After many weeks of waiting we were left somewhat bemused by the whole evening. Very little happened and it seems the only interesting thing we got from the whole night was a light outside that is currently being looked at on our video footage.
There were lots of reports of cold spots but after much consideration we were able to put this down to natural draughts coming from the fire exits and the windows were also letting in a fair bit of breeze as they were only single glazed. The building was cold anyway but this was due to the amount of windows around the building.
We had numerous incidents of tap, raps, and bangs but again after much investigation we were able to put this down the central heating system cooling down as it had turned off, this was also linked to floor boards cooling down. We set up numerous trigger objects but again these failed to reveal anything of interest
We also conducted numerous vigils and were again met with the disappointing lack of activity. Our sensitive’s picked up on scents of tobacco smoke and also the feeling of being pushed but then again they couldn't pick up anything substantial
We recorded some EVP but again this failed to give any evidence of interest, it seems that our best evidence of the night is the video footage of the light outside. Every person was accounted for. After the footage has been viewed properly and analysed we will post our findings accordingly.
Further Information
We are currently looking at some footage of a locked of experiment we conducted at the TDC we are to say the least interested by the findings of this event.
All the team would like to thank the management of the location for allowing us to conduct our investigation.
